Helping owners communicate with their pets, while having fun and
building a relationship based upon respect and trust, is my specialty.
About the trainer, Dayna Villa CPDT:
"I have been around dogs since I was born, growing up with a
German Shepherd, a Lab mix and a Shepherd mix. My dog
training career began in 2005, when I rescued my Boxer, Chloe.
I soon was volunteering in two Philadelphia shelters and training
dogs nonstop in my spare time. I began fostering homeless dogs
in 2006, and enjoyed taking on the more challenging cases. I
apprenticed with two highly skilled trainers and began reading
books on every type of training method used in the past and today.
other reward-based methods in both a private and group setting.
Currently I rescue and rehabilitate homeless dogs for
offer in-home training in the greater Philadelphia region. My experience with dog breeds ranges from the Yorkie to the Great Dane, with a special focus on
Boxers and“Pit Bulls”. My main goals are to help people have a pet dog that loves, trusts and respects them and to promote
rescue adoptions of dogs (and cats!) instead of pet shop purchases.
I currently live in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania with my husband,
two cats, and two dogs."
