"Properly trained, a man can be a dog's best friend."
Your relationship with your dog is built on thousands of tiny moments. With Taking the
Lead Dog Training, you will learn simple and effective ways to modify your behavior, to
help improve your dog's behavior. The
training is customized to best meet the
needs of you and your dog so everyone
has fun and learning is achieved!!
Helping owners communicate with their pets, while having fun and
building a relationship based upon respect and trust, is my specialty.
About the trainer, Dayna Villa CPDT:
"I have been around dogs since I was born, growing up with a
German Shepherd, a Lab mix and a Shepherd mix. My dog
training career began in 2005, when I rescued my Boxer, Chloe.
I soon was volunteering in two Philadelphia shelters. I began fostering homeless dogs in 2006, and enjoyed taking on the more challenging cases. I
apprenticed with two highly skilled trainers and began reading
books on every type of training method used in the past and today.
I am skilled in traditional training methods, clicker training and
other reward-based methods in both a private and group setting.
I have been a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers since
2007 and am an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
Currently I offer in-home training in the greater Philadelphia region. My experience with dog breeds ranges from the Yorkie to the Great Dane, with a special focus on Boxers and “Pit Bulls”.
